I'm looking for a bit of info to figure what I'm going to do to my zuk(1985 SJ413). Right now my plan is to run wrangler springs, toy axles w/o the rear offset, toy double cardon DS, and 33's
First question, are the front spring hangers outboarded from the frame on 86+ Samurai? Mine are right in line with the frame, giving me about 24.5" perch center to perch center. I read on priate that sami's have a 28.25" between. So I doubt that the frames are different, but just need to know. if possible i'd love to see a pic of this on sami.
And do Sami's have a divorced Tcase, or a pinion mounted drum ebrake? These two thing suprised me when i looked underneath the first time
Also if some one knows the distance between frame rails in the front, just so I can confirm mine is the same.
And anybody running toys without the rear offset, what are you using for a driveshaft. I've read that using an 85 and prior front toy shaft will work. any idea of lengths front or rear?
lastly if someone has seen a link or post about installing a wrangler leaf conversion - either rro JPEaters, or SKYs conversion, I'd like to know more oabout how these go in. Seems easy form the web, but that's always the case.
Anyways, thanks for any info, I know I'm asking a toone of questions, I just haven't been able to come up with anything definate yet.
Thanks
Mike
