I am selling my 1990 blue EFI 4WD Samurai JL this week.
Rather then rebuild the top end of the engine, I am just picking up a winter driver car..:(...I was hoping to keep it , but am not a mechanic, and need wheels asap.
The body needs work in all the usual Samurai places, and the # 4 valve and catalytic converter need replacement to pass emissions test. It is not running well at all, and would require $800 to get this stuff done apparently.
I am taking best offers before I repost it in parts form.
I have an offer for 900 now, as he wants to tear it down for parts, but I think he is one of the guys who wants like 500 for the axles and tranny, so I wil do it this way first, rather than have him rip my little Sammy apart for his own profit.
Everything is stock, interior is in great shape, good winter project Jepp to a serious offroader or just as a great parts truck.It has a black good condition soft top, black front headlight bra, new seat covers, etc....
