Yup, it has finally happened. The great Moab Icon has been closed to make way for Condo's. The present owner was seen moving his wares and Buldozers are coming in Monday to level the buildings. Times are changing!

Yeah I was reading all about that on Pirate. The land was school trust land and they sold it off for the state's school funding. Not much anybody can do when public land gets auctioned off to the highest bidder. :( But who knows, there is no way a condo can be built on the LB so maybe there is a chance it will someday still be made available for a service fee. After all, that is how it was being operated for several years now.
