I did a search on this but was unable to find exatly wat I need...
I have my e-brake on the back of the t-case (from the 410?)
I need a listing of all part numbers inside of the drum
(mine is empty) including the big nut which holds it on the shaft....altho the nut looks like the one thich holds the yoke on the diff and mabe I could use one of those.
An exploded part diag would be good also if anyone has one
thanks folks

I've been searching for the same thing. So far the closest I can find is diagrams and parts #s for the lj20 (go figure i can find info on something older and more obscure than what i'm already looking for). I don't know how close they are to the sj410 but it's a start.
Anyone know how different they are?

I was comparing that diagram of the lj20 brake to my sj410 brake and they look identical down to the last detail. I'm gonna take my chances and order the shoes with the part number from the lj20 and see if they fit. I need that nut too, it must be pretty standard. As for the rest of the innards, the springs are bound to be the same and the retaining clips are identical aswell. I'll let you know what I find out.
I'm pretty confident though:pray: , compare the diagram with your own brake Canadian eh! and you'll see what I mean.

Update:
I ordered the shoes and the nut yesterday, the numbers have changed for both but Suzuki was able to find the new #s using the old #s. They should be in within 1 1/2 to 2 weeks and I'll let you know if they're the right one's. If they are, I would suspect all the other parts should be the same and you'd be able to find out the new part #s using the one's on the list above.
Stay tuned
EDIT: I'll post the part numbers of the shoes and nut once I receive the parts and confirm they are correct.

Good news, good news!
Just picked up my parts from Suzuki and I would appear as though my gamble paid off.
Using the #'s above we managed to find the current #'s for these parts.
The nut is part #08314-40163 and cost $3.45 + tax
The shoe set is part #52200-60812 and cost 67.48 + tax.
Even better though, the shoe set came with 4 shoes instead of 2 so I have a spare set that I might be getting rid of (can't see myself going through these at any significant rate, might be a while before I need to replace them). I double checked that I hadn't been charged double and I hadn't. Even the box says 1 set. Don't know if it was a packaging error or what, but as long as the error is in my favour I'll take it.
Anyway, I haven't installed them yet but did hold the parts up to each other and measured them and it would appear the only difference is the new shoes are about 1mm narrower than the old one's. No big deal.
CanEh! I would recommend that you take the above list with the old numbers to your local Zuk dealer and see if they can find out the other part #'s for you. Both drums appear to be the same.
A big thanks to Julie @ 417 Suzuki for helping me with this quest.
I hope this is of help to you guys.

Ah nuts!!!:(
I switched the shoes out and they fit perfectly, however, I was wrong about the nut (should have checked better before the previous post). The nut is too small. The one I picked up had a 22mm head but after measuring the inprint left on the washer it should be either 27-28 mm (If anyone actually knows please post).
Sorry about jumping the gun on that one. At least the shoes fit, that was the more important (and more $$$) of the 2. One of the cheaper mistakes I've made on this project.:D

I'm sure we can work something out.
I figure the reason they came in a set of four is prolly cuz they are the same as the rear shoes for another vehicle and not primarily for the driveline brake. There must be another number for a set of two identicle shoes specifically for the SJ410.
Edit: no spel so gud

Yup. The L40 and L50 Carry used the same shoes as the LJ ebrake shoes. And they're the same for front and rear.

Don't count on it. The part number for those shoes has changed 4-5 times since the original ones. They used to have "ea. shoe" and "set", but now it's just a set.
