the front is almost complete ... just have to ad two more center posts ... it's all sitting on 2x4 and the reese hitch is monster welded to that and the frame ... the rear is just starting to take shape ... closing off the back frame with 2x4 just like the front and welding the reese hitch to it ... then gonna twin tube that with lights and a rack for a tire carrier and gas can ... i hate the back door ... so i want to be able to carry the spare still take it off ...

thx sarg for posting it

I would move that receiver in some. Looks like it would take your knee cap off. :bang:

Are you thinking of a swing away carrier or a reciever carrier for the spare?

gordZuki

swing away ... and i know the receiver looks like it sticks out far but the actually bumper still has to go on the back ... :-)

I think what he's sayin in "Gordinian" is thats fer under the "real" stock bumper,he has yet to re-install the bumper over it, but im just learninghis language, so im not positive

no stock bumper yuck .... yuck ... it sticks out yes yes the reciever ... because the actual bumper is not in place ... twin tube so it's sticks out another 3 inches or so ... that flat 2x4 u c is just to close off the frame and give the reese hitch a place to weld to along with the stock round cross member.... i wanted it to be solid ... real solid ... first good test will be when i get my winch and i tie it to the building and climb it straight up ... then once it starts goin up i am gonna tie another zuk to it ... anyone got a 9000 or 12000 pound winch? :-)
