Body mods should be done by end of next weekend, then body comes off and suspension & axles goes on, after that the engine transplant begins, so im about a month away and now ready to start collecting parts...what kinda beer and pizza did u say u liked? hehe

Has anybody heard of an Iltsa? It's the Can. Army"****" the bodies are built by Bombardir and the running gear is VW. 1.6 gas engine inline with independant susupension.Any way what I'm getting at is the are a good donor for a rad outlets on left side and a fan switch in the rad. And the motor mounts bolt on the side of the block.Just a neat thing I come across.

I'm getting an Iltis rad for my diesel sammy. Outlets on the proper side, hoses that fit, this going to be cool:ro: . I might get some other useful goodies off of the VW engines in the Iltis.

I've got an oil pan heater, and I hold my MANUAL glow plug button in longer. She starts just fine.
