I am considering putting a weber on my 88.5 sami, but have had a lot of people tell me they run crappy off road.I don't do a lot of offroading know, but I plan to when I'm done.Have any of you experienced trouble with a weber? Is this easy to fix?I have already installed header and 2" exhaust, and it pulls slightly better but I'm just not getting enough gas.

i am using a weber carb right now , and so far it works well.
it is a little fussy at first, took me about 3 hours of playing with it to get it to idle right and kick down right , but for now , it works well. i haven't had it up long hills yet , haven't really 4 wheeled it hard yet, but i don't see a problem. they are very exspensive little suckers though.mine came with a loose choke housing , so i will never know if it would have work right out of the box. getting that thing etested was a bit of a test too, got to play alot to get it to pass, now that 's my rig , yours might burn cleaner, and since yours has a cat, might be fine.
