I am wondering if there is a difference between the driveshaft on the SJ and the Sammy. I am looking at a SPOA now that I have the OME shocks and springs done and will need the spacers. I might be looking at a 1.6 conversion as well in the future...anyone know if the driveshaft can deal with the extra power?

SJ shafts are solid steel, about 1.25" in diameter. SAmi shafts are tube steel, and approx 2" in diameter. SJ has the small bolt pattern and the d-shaft flanges are square on all 4 sides.
I doub't either driveshaft will be your weak link though, but personally I'd use the sami shafts.
