I am just piecing together all of my stuff before I rebuild my front axel. I bought a set of longfields back last spring, I also bought an elocker. I just wondering if anyone runs this setup, because Longfield now sells inner axel shafts specific to elockers, and I am just wondering why.

I was running that set up with the 30 splines and had no problems. I should have kept it instead of swapping for the locker but i thought the hydro wouldn't mind it so much.
It is a great question on why, so give him a call. I am sure that bobby will give you the low down.

P.S you know about the warranty void on the 30 spline birfs if you don't run the upgraded hub centers right! They are the next thing to break and it takes the splines off on the birf, so the upgrade is needed.

yep, Im still running that set-up now.. no probs. Longfields special axles for e-lockers have a much longer spline to give u more room for the locking coupler giving u more room to disengage the locker. but ive never had any issue with mine.
