i did a quick search to see if anyone upgraded their master brake cylinders to something bigger. everything i found was about switching a Honda cylinder into a sammi. I'm just wondering if the same thing would go into a tracker, or if the sammi and tracker master cylinders are different. right now I'm not super happy with my braking performance (the pads have been changed and i bled it properly), and eventually I'm going with a SAS with Toyota axles. i picked up a toy master cylinder and brake booster today, but its a little bigger, so i would need to drill new holes in the firewall and trim the "shock tower" to fit it. thats not a big deal since the shock towers not going to be used after the SAS anyways.

any opinions?

does it use the same booster, or do i need that too? and if its different, does the body need any trimming to fit it?

last question is: whats all the otehr stuff thats mounted to the master cylinder in my tracker? theres a brass thing and then a steel (or something) cylinder mounted left to right under the master cylinder

use the sammy booster but u'll need the heep master and push rod. the heep push rod is adjustable so it will take a few tries to find the rite setting.

what year? I dunno anymore.. i know i've posted here b4 bout it..

theres a few times I posted bout the heep MC but no where did I mention the year - go figure

btw, u'll want the proportioning valve from the heep MC too.

is that brass thing the proportioning valve? if it is, whats the thing under it? i tried going out to take a pic, but its too dark in the garage and i would have to pull off the air box to get a good picture.
