i was wondering if the kicks gears (5:13)will go into my 85 sj410?

thats a tuff one, some 85's had sami axles and some had SJ410 axles, if they 410 axles then no

easiest way to tell from what i remember is see if the front leaf springs are directly under the frame= 410 or outside the frame a lil bit=sami

measure the axle width to tell

85 samurai's axelhousings have 3.90 gears (same dia. as 3.73's) but the axels are the same length as the sj 410's...The housings are the same width

they are under, but not centered, they are more to the outside.
