pm me.
I might have something that your would be interested in
85sj413 front axle - same as samurai but 410 width, and a hybrid rear to match. 4.62 or possible 5.12 gears, I'm not looking for much $$ really just the cost of the gears.
I was running these on my 85 sj413 - same spring setup as the 410's ie sprinf pad inline with the frame.

PM me and ill explain exactly what i got.
It would make for a bolt on deal

A sammy kit would work but the spring pads ar proably too big. Have you checked out Breeze industries?

hmmm vancover.........did not notice that.
yes shipping would be a killer.
Do check out breeze. the 410 is very similar to the samurai.
Keep you eyes open for a set of 85.5 sj413 axles. they only made them for 6 months and then went the samurai. They have the 1.3, the larget diffs and the same axle width ans spring bad location as the 410

My 85 is spring over. I put sj410 axels under it. No problems what so ever.

Rolled her over two years ago before i built George (my current rig). It was nice and stable and had great road manners it only rolled because I was driving like a monkey in heat and put her over.

The pick up is in about 5 million pieces, as soon as I get it all together and some more pictures taken I will post them up.

This may sound crazy but try a dealer. It's worth a shot and may really surprise you.
Another option would be to get on a forein site where the P/U's were a little more popular.

Ya I was thinking about a dealer but I haven't had the time lately. I have pulled the bed apart completely...like drilled out every rivet right down to nothing completely. I am trying to save what I can of the original truck but I am going to need to add in a bunch of steel.

The tailgate is bad...like yikes bad. I will find one somewhere, if not I will post up the building of the new one....
