My name is Tom Bentzen. I live in the Seattle area. I fumbled onto this site via the Pirate board. Looks like a really great site.

I'll post my last two samurais here. I'll probably get shit for it, because the LWB is just now getting a coil suspension so for the time being I only have a POSER drive way shot.

Good pics to come.

Thanks again.

The shorty was built by Tim Lund of Wild West Offroad. He now works for ARB in Seattle.

Tim got me everything. She was a great rig. I probably should have just STRETCHED the frame instead of starting all over with the LWB. Althought the LWB is more rare and kool.

Welcome aboard. Cool trucks. I like your lwb truck. You'll love coil suspention. I've been running on a coil suspention that i built for about two years now, flexes great and rides smoother than a cadi. with my 36" swamper aired down. The wheels stay on the ground where you want them to. Once you've had coils you'll never want to go back.:D

Hey TB, got some pics of the iron pig? I have had a bj60 as a daily and loved it but it was hard to keep 5 cars on a driveway that holds 2 cars and 1 in the garage. I am putting BJ42 axles under the zuk now, and I have a BJ70 rolling chassis right now but will be pulling the axles for spares incase I break (ya right.....not on 33's).

The 1HZJ-60 is getting a full restoration up on Vancouver Island as we speak. I'm going to use her as my tow rig for my samy.

I'll pst pics whenst she's done.

What size tire were you running on the SWB? I have to get an idea as to what my rig will look like with 35's with not too much lift.

thanks

The picture of the shorty samurai there has 35X14.5x15 boggers on her. They actually measured more like 33.8 to 34" tall.
