Q. When I try to register, why does it say my email/IP is banned?

A. Zookpower.ca makes every effort to prevent spam on the boards.
As such, every new registration must pass several checks before an account is granted.
If your email address and/or IP is on a spam list, you will not be granted an account until that
information is removed from the spam list.

Q. I registered and clicked the link in email to activate my account.
Why can't I post yet?

A. Your account may be waiting activation by an admin.
You will receive a confirmation email once an admin has approved your account,
usually within 24 hours of clicking on the email actication link

B. You are still a Zero Post Newbie, and need to make your intro post in the Welcome to Zookpower forum.
We just want to know a little about you, and your rig before you start selling stuff or picking our brains.

Q : I've made my intro post but I still can't post in any other forum?

A : Usergroup promotions are done hourly. When you first get an approved account, you are a "Zero Post Newbie"
with limited access. Once you make your intro post, all you have to do is wait for the next promotion cycle
to have your account promoted to "Stock"

Q. I want an avatar and one of those cool wrenches under my name. Where can I get one?

A. Custom avatars are available to members who have donated to keep Zookpower up and running add free!
The wrenches are symbols that show who our supporters are.

If you would like to donate and be able to upload your own avatar, post images directly on the forums,
and other features, click on the 'Donate' button that is located at the bottom of every forum page.

Q : Whats the difference between usergroups?

A : A lot!

Once you complete the registration process, you are by default a Zero post newbie with limited access to the site.

Once you make your introduction post, You become a Stock user (within and hour or so)

Q. I'm looking at older posts and all the images are scrambled up. What's up with that?

A. Our webhost moved our site before we could upgrade our forum software and the image data was corrupted during the transfer.
We are working to replace whatever images are still available.
