rough night!

went to change the spark plugs in the samurai tonight and im guessing the previous owner must of jammed one in cross threaded, the threaded part of the plug ended up cracking off in the head! then after failing to get it out with an "easy out" we ended up dropping that into the head as well. so after about an hour of fooling around with a magnet for retrieval of the easy out, i gave up and came home. so here i am wondering what head gaskets will fit this motor after i pull it open. there's only 2 samurai's in town and im sure there are no gaskets to be found around here for it. are the tracker 8 valve head gaskets the same?

No...
The 1.3 and 1.6 head gaskets are not the same due to cylinder bore size.
I have had plenty of luck finding parts for my Sammi engine at NAPA... If they say they cannot get it for you... Slap the guy behind the counter for being a lazy asshole and tell him to apply at Crappy Tire where they hire dead beat fawks that don't know what they are doing and get away with being lazy and not picking up a parts book when the computer says they can't get it.
